They draw me closer
Longing and lusting for you
I desire those eyes
Sparkling and shining
The way galaxies collide
Mesmerizing me
Look at me again
Until twilight I could stare
I get lost in them
Bright and beautiful
Blue, green, grey, brown, yellow too
Those eyes magnetize
Away I can’t look
They grab me and pull me in
Surging with passion

Excellent haiku! Great response to the prompt!
ReplyDelete-Weasel
So may well done Haiku in response to the prompt! Nice to have the opportunity to read your work.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I chose to do 5 instead of 1 because 1 cannot possibly fully express my thought, and 5 is just enough to make me stretch and explore. I did 5 for my other haiku post today as well for the same reason. I think 5 it a good amount to allow for full expression of a thought.
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful to be so mesmerized. Well crafted piece.
